Belfonti Capital Partners, LLC is a venture capital firm focused on acquiring real estate development and investment opportunities throughout the United States and internationally. The principal of Belfonti Capital Partners, Michael Belfonti, has over 25 years of real estate development and investment experience and has completed billions of dollars' worth of real estate transactions. Mr. Belfonti founded Belfonti Capital Partners in 2005 as a complementary business to his two other real-estate related companies, Belfonti Companies, LLC and Belfonti Properties. Collectively, the groups are known as "The Belfonti Companies" and they have owned and developed real estate in 15 different states, including New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Texas, Ohio, Indiana and New Hampshire. In 2005, the group acquired 485 Fifth Avenue in New York with the Carlyle Group as its equity partner.
