Bariston Partners, LLC (BP) is a private equity firm which provides both capital and a range of professional services to corporate clients in selected industries. The firm has sponsored investments totaling in excess of $1 billion of debt and equity financing. BP is the successor company to Bariston Holdings, Inc., which was founded in 1986 by David Barry and Jack Kadis. The firm's interest is in middle market leveraged buyouts, and workout situations involving highly qualified management teams. BP has a preference for industries such as communications, publishing and other media, and electronic security. The firm targets companies with pre-money valuations ranging between $20 million and $100 million. Typically, BP will provide capital to a client company and concurrently be engaged as the client's advisor.
