Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) is a money management firm based in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Established in 1997, the firm provides capital for expansion, recapitalization, or acquisitions, in order to grow their business for the long-term. The firm runs a pan-Asian investment program, sponsoring buyouts and providing growth capital to companies for expansion or acquisitions, as well as a private credit and a pan-Asian real estate private equity investment program. It also operates from Shanghai, Beijing, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo and Jakarta. The assets of the firm are managed by an investment committee.
