Bancu Votorantim is a banking institution based at Sao Paulo, Brazil. Established in 1988, the bank acted mainly in wholesale, treasury and investments. In recent years, it has grown and expanded its scope of action, seeking to increase its revenue and asset base through a diversified business portfolio of the wholesale bank, wealth management, and consumer finance. Banco Votorantim has a solid shareholder base, formed by Grupo Votorantim and Banco do Brasil. The governance is shared among these two shareholders with equal participation of each of them in the board of directors and its advisory committees.
