Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company

Mumtalakat Holding Company is a sovereign wealth fund located in Manama, Bahrain. The fund is an independent holding company for the government of Bahrain's strategic non-oil and gas related assets. It was established in 2006 to align and implement the execution of the government's initiatives to pursue value-enhancing opportunities, improve transparency and help achieve operational excellence for its commercial assets. It invest in sectors such as industrial manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, real estate, tourism, transportation and food production. The assets of the fund are managed by the board of directors.
