YANNICK ROUX

Yannick Roux is a Co-Founder of Semantic Ventures. Roux served as Principal at EC1 Capital. Yannick was previously head of corporate development at the online travel search business Momondo Group. Yannick comes with extensive investment experience in the internet and technology sectors, having being part of the investment team at Forward Internet Group since its inception. At Forward he was involved in all its venture and private equity investment activity, including the acquisitions of Top10 Media and Factory Media, the exit of uSwitch (LDC) and Invisible Hand Software (Skimlinks) and the creation of an early stage venture portfolio comprising promising companies such as as Appear Here, Zopa, Hubbub and Top10.com. Yannick was trained in investment banking and also had entrepreneurial experience prior to Forward. Yannick is Franco-Italian, holds a BA in Business Administration from Bocconi University and MSc Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
