Van Luong is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and President at Viet-UC Seafood. In 1984 he started a boutique tailor shop, which later grew into a garment outsourced manufacturing business - over 300 workers. In 1988 he entered the photo development business - his first one-hour photo store in Victoria, Australia. The business quickly grew national, became top-3 photo developer in Australia - 5 million film rolls developed annually. In 2000 he acquired 50% market share, adopting latest automatic photo development technology from Germany. In 2003 he acquired Kodak's photo processing business, its biggest competitor and in 2004 photo processing business peaked at US$50-million annual revenue, 6000 agencies nationwide. In 2001 he aspired to bring back global experience and innovative technology, leverage local knowledge to improve Vietnam's aquaculture and established Viet-Uc's first hatchery in Binh Thuan province.
