Tumas Diago is the Founder & serves as Chairman at Softonic International. Toms founded Softonic in 1997 as part of his final year project for university. In five years, he has grown the company from a humble file sharing website to become one the world's largest Internet companies. Today, he is responsible for leading the global business of more than 400 employees in offices located across Europe, Asia and America. Toms has been awarded the "National Young Entrepreneur Award" by the Confederacion Espanola de Asociaciones de Jvenes Empresarios (CEAJE), the "Businessman of the Future Award" by the Catalan Association Foment de Treball Nacional, the "Emerging Entrepreneur Award" by the consulting firm Ernst & Young, and the "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" by the magazine Emprendedores. Toms is a Technical Engineer in Computer Management and an Information Systems Engineer conferred by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB-Sabadell) and the Universitat La Salle (Universitat Ramon Llull) respectively.
