Sylvain Abitbol serves as Co-President at Otolane. He also serves as Chairman at CMOO. He brings many years of significant executive experience. Sylvain is a mechanical and industrial engineer from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. He worked for Factory Mutual Engineering as a field engineer then joined Xerox Corporation where he worked for 6 years and was trained in telecommunication in their El Segundo California facilities. After Xerox Sylvain started his life as an entrepreneur taking his first company public in 1985. This company was involved in connectivity and structured cabling solutions. Sylvain and his partner were behind Exchange Market Systems, an electronic trading platform sold to major Canadian financial institutions. Sylvain was then CEO of a TSX trading company selling software-controlled micro-robotics switches to major Local Exchange Carriers in the US and Europe. With his partner he invested in Umind - www.uminsoft.com an intelligent tutoring system company selling to Fortune 500, they are also behind www.pixiclip.com a free online education tool. They just launched one of the most sophisticated used car auction platform www.otolane.com integrating sophisticated key market data metrics pulled from a used car data aggregator engine with over 14 million cars. Sylvain and his partners have invested in CMoo as they see a unique opportunity combined with expertise acquired over the years in strategic thinking and planning as well as in marketing and financing.
