ACON Investments is an international private equity investment firm managing capital through varied investment funds and special purpose partnerships. Founded in 1996, ACON maintains offices in Washington DC; Los Angeles; Mexico City, Mexico; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Madrid, Spain. In late 2006, ACON began investing domestically through its most recent U.S. private equity fund, ACON-Bastion Partners II, and its affiliated co-investment fund, ACON Investment Partners, which have committed equity totaling approximately $500 million. The firm's investment strategy begins by identifying middle-market companies in which it can invest $20 to $150 million of equity capital.
