Subbarao Telidevara

Subbarao Telidevara is a Co-Founder of NuVentures. He was Founder & served as Managing Partner at LotusPool Capital. He is a Co-Founder & serves as Board Member at WealthApp. He serves as Board Member at YourDOST. He brings over 20 years of operational and investing experience and insight. Prior to LotusPool, Subba was a Partner at Actis and played a key role in transforming CDC/Actis into a leading private equity fund manager in India. Subba joined CDC Capital Partners in 1996, prior to the creation of Actis in 2004, as an investment professional in Bangalore. At Actis, he led a number of investment transactions in technology, consumer and specialty industries and consistently generated returns to the investors over a long period. Some of his investments include market leaders as Sify, Daksh eServices, Global Realty Outsourcing and Nilgiris. He has a record of identifying businesses and management teams that are poised for exponential growth and works closely with them in realizing the potential. Subba was on the Investment Committee of Actis from 2004 till he left. Prior to joining Actis, Subba worked with ICICI's private equity arm for 2 years. He also did structured investments and leasing and hire purchase at ITC group. His operational experience was with ITW India Ltd and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Subba has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Engineering and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
