Steve Schuler served as Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Bridgewater Wealth & Financial Management. Before joining Bridgewater, he was President, Partner and head of the Investment Committee at Maryland Capital Management for 14 years. Steve manages the Quality Growth Stock (QGS) strategy, develops portfolio management and asset allocation tactics, leads research efforts, provides overall investment models, and is responsible for making manager and fund recommendations. He also advises and is the portfolio manager for select clients. Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Hobart College in Geneva, New York. He is also a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. From 1988 to 1999, Steve was a Director and Principal at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown. Steve is a member of the board of trustees of the St. Paul's School for Boys, where he serves on its investment and philanthropy committees.
