Siva Shankar

Siva Shankar serves as Managing Director and Member of the Asia Private Equity, Credit & Infrastructure at The Rohatyn Group. He is also an Angel Investor. He is based in Mumbai. Prior to joining TRG in December 2013, he was a member of the Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI) investment team from 2008. Shankar joined Citigroup in 1991 and has 25 years of experience in financial services across treasury operations, corporate finance, capital markets and investment management. He was part of the Special Situations group in Citibank from 2006 to 2008 and was involved in restructuring transactions, mezzanine debt and private equity as well as public equity markets. Shankar was earlier the Head of Debt Origination for Citibank and has significant transaction experience in raising financing by issuance of bonds, loans, ECA finance, project finance and securitization. Shankar graduated with a B Tech (Electronics) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and PGDBM from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
