Seth Zalkin is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at The Astor Group. He is an advisor, investor, and entrepreneur who is widely quoted in publications such as the New York Times, Forbes, and Venture Equity Latin America. He also is a Co-Founder, Co-Owner and serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Brooklyn Brands. After a successful career that intertwined operating and advising consumer and technology businesses, in 2004 he founded the Astor Group. The following year, Seth founded Astor Capital, an investor in early stage and growth companies. As Managing Partner, Seth has executed complex transactions, negotiated agreements for a wide range of clients and portfolio companies and created a myriad of innovative growth strategies. Seth is recognized for his work in the food and beverage, telecom, media, and technology sectors and for his knowledge of, and relationships throughout, Latin America. Prior to founding Astor Group, Seth served as CEO of, and successfully sold, venture-backed internet, technology, and professional services companies. As CEO, Seth led the sale of businesses to both public and private companies and successfully cultivated client relationships with businesses such as Time Warner, IBM, Bacardi, Sony Music and Perrier. Seth received a J.D. from University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a B.A. from Duke University with honors.
