Scott Kurnit is a Co-Founder and serves as Board Member and Chairman at Keep Holdings. Kurnit also served as Partner at New York Angels. He also serves as Board member at Brightcove. He founded About (acquired by The New York Times Co.) and served as its chairman and CEO. He began his career in television when he was the program director in the PBS system. He contributed to Qube, the world's interactive cable system, as a program director and he went on to serve as the President of Showtime Event Television when it aired the first rock concert in the former Soviet Union. He worked at Warner, Viacom News Corporation, IBM and MCI, either directly or through joint ventures. He received his B.A. degrees in sociology and communications from Hampshire College. He currently serves on the boards of Brightcove, Appssavvy and BlackArrow. He is an advisor to About, Black Arrow, Mashery and SmartBrief.
