Lion Capital is a consumer-focused investment firm that seeks to make control investments in mid and large-sized, consumer-oriented businesses in Europe and North America. Lion Capital is currently managing three active pools of investment capital: Lion Capital Fund I (formed in 2004), Lion Capital Fund II (formed in 2007) and Lion Capital Fund III (formed in 2010), which combined total to over EURO 4 billion of capital under Lion's management since inception. Lion Capital was founded in 2004 by Lyndon Lea, Robert Darwent and Neil Richardson, who have been investing equity capital in Europe since the early 1990s.
