Formed in 1993, CrossHarbor Capital Partners is a private investment firm focused on opportunistic investments in real estate, distressed debt, and private equity. Within real estate, CrossHarbor will invest in single property transactions, multiple property portfolios, real estate-related operating companies, and all forms of real estate debt and equity securities. Since 1993, the company has committed $1.7 billion of capital to more than 145 transactions and $8 billion of underlying real estate. Within distressed debt, the firm invests in troubled real estate loans, corporate loans, and other structured securities. Within private equity, CrossHarbor targets acquisitions in financial services, asset management, and business services. The group will only consider control situations. Since its founding, the firm has handled more than 300 real estate transactions in the U.S. and around the world. The company manages $5.5 billion in assets for its own account and on behalf of pension funds, endowments, insurance companies, and commercial banks.
