Robbie Allen

Robbie Allen serves as Chief Executive Officer at Infinia ML. He serves as Board Member at Klearly. He also is an Angel Investor. He is also the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Automated Insights. Allen is the Founder and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Automated Insights. Robbie Allen oversees all aspects of Automated Insights as well as leads the software development and information technology teams for the company. Prior to founding Automated Insights, Robbie was a Distinguished Engineer, IT at Cisco where he worked for 13 years. During his time at Cisco, Robbie led large-scale IT architecture projects that involved overhauling Cisco's internal infrastructure to a cloud-based solution. He managed teams from 5 to 40 people that developed complex network management software. Just before leaving the company, Robbie designed advanced protocols for Cisco's core router platfor Before Cisco, Robbie worked at IBM in the Networking Hardware Division and at Lucent in a variety of software engineering positions. Robbie received a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Math from East Carolina University (magna cum laude). He has Masters degrees from MIT in Engineering Management and Civil & Environmental Engineering. He is the author of ten books on a variety of technical topics from O'Reilly, Apress and Addison-Wesley. Robbie has been very active in the startup community for over ten years. He's served as an advisor and mentor to numerous startups and entrepreneurs.
