Poul Thyregod

Puul Thyregod serves as Investor and Partner at Executive Capital. He also serves as Vice Chairman at estron (Denmark). He serves as the Chairman of Novicell, Director Nordic eCommerce of Expert, Board Member of Proshop and Chairman of NN Markedsdata. He holds a Law & Economics degree from Handelshjskolen i Orhus. Poul is one of Denmark's most successful and best-known IT entrepreneurs. He has founded several companies in branding and distribution of IT accessories, digital media recycling, a small IT retail chain and digitalization advisory services. Most well-known, he has founded Proshop in 1995, a company he continues to own and translates for more than DKK 800 million. Poul started his entrepreneurial career next to the law and economics studies at Aarhus Business School in the early 1990s, with imports of movies and games from abroad. In 1995 he started with a pair of comrades Proshop and sat in the executive chair. Poul has, in a short period of time, been the owner and chairman of the board and been the man behind the IT company's uninterrupted growth since 2007. Today, Proshop has 75 employees, own pick up points and sells to a large number of European countries. Alongside Proshop, Poul has started, invested in and been a board member of a number of other IT services companies.
