Brockway prefers manufacturing companies, service businesses and high value-added distributors. The firm has a particular interest in highly fragmented industries with opportunity for consolidation. Industry areas of focus include consumer products and services, industrial manufacturing, business services, health and fitness, healthcare, and high value-added distribution. Brockway focuses on privately held businesses, small-cap public companies or subsidiaries and divisions of larger enterprises. The transaction value of platform investments ranges from $15 to $100 million in companies with an EBITDA of $5 to $30 million. For platform acquisitions, Brockway prefers companies based in the U.S. However, add-on acquisitions can be based internationally. Since 1998, Brockway has completed over 75 acquisitions.
