Nicolas Barthelemy

Nicolas Barthelemy serves as Regional Director, Europe and North America & Senior Advisor at Merieux Developpement. He joined Merieux Developpement as a Senior Advisor in March 2016. He brings over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, life sciences and molecular diagnostic fields. He was previously with Biotheranostics, a molecular diagnostics company where he was President and CEO until February 2017. Prior to that, he held several senior management positions at Life Technologies for 9 years, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer. The company was acquired by ThermoFishcer Scientific in February 2014. Before Life Technologies, Mr Barthelemy was at Biogen. He began his career at Merck & Co. Inc. Barthelemy sits on the Board of Repligen Corporation (RGEN) and Essen Bioscience. He received an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an engineering degree from the Ecole Superieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles, Paris. He also followed HarvardBusiness School's Program for Management Development.
