Founded 1988, FCP manages more than $350 million in institutional equity funding. The firm works in partnership with operating managers and owners, using its capital to fund management buyouts, owner recapitalizations, family successions, and industry consolidations in companies valued at between $8 and $100 million. FCP makes equity investments in small, niche-oriented manufacturers and distributors. FCP targets firms with pre-tax profits of at least $3 to $12 million (after adjustments for owner-related expenses) and continuous profitability during the three most recent years.
