Nalin Kulatilaka

Dr. Nalin Kulatilaka is a Co-Founder of Certain Solar. He is a Co-Founder and Scientist at FirstFuel Software. He serves as a Board Member at Assette. He has applied his deep mathematical background in econometrics and real options to the challenge of understanding building data. Nalin is the Wing Tat Lee Family Professor of Management and Professor of Finance at Boston University. His research includes the role of financial markets in directing investments to clean energy technologies and he has been published in over 75 journals on topics ranging from real options to startup valuation to the role of energy intermediaries. He received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, a Masters degree in Decision and Control Engineering from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
