Ming is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of venture capital funds management experience. He founded many companies and is former electronic engineer involved in many innovative design projects.
Hsu has managed more than $300M in total funding across IT, semiconductor, clean-tech, automotive and bio-tech industries. Most recently, he was the partner and president of Pac-Link Ventures, where he steered the investment and exit strategies of many companies and led a team of more than 20 investment professionals.
Prior to Pac-Link Ventures, he was the co-founder and CEO of Luxo Communications, a start-up creating Passive Optical Network systems.
Before Luxo, he was the founder and CEO of APAQ, a PC systems company and also co-founded ECS, a dominate player in the PC motherboard market that he launched public on the Taiwan stock exchange.
Hsu graduated with a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.
