Pummerin Investments is a private equity fund based in Houston established to make investments in small businesses to provide equity capital for growth, liquidity, or restructuring to participate directly in enhancing the value of the company and to generate fair risk-adjusted returns. Pummerin is seeking value-oriented investments between $2 million and $6 million in small businesses with annual revenue and pretax earnings in excess of $5 million and $1 million, respectively. Preference exists for industry-leading businesses with attractive returns on capital, predictable earnings and free cash flow, and owners seeking liquidity or otherwise capital constrained. Pummerin looks for opportunities to grow earnings through operational improvements, capital investments, or strategic acquisitions. The firm is willing to make investments ranging from complete acquisitions to minority investments (control not required). Prospective industry sectors include (i) retail/ consumer goods and services, (ii) energy/ industrial / manufacturing, (iii) financial services, and (iv) technology. The firm will not consider investments in real estate or oil and gas exploration and production).
