Michel Goossens

Michel Goossens serves as Advisor at CloudBees. He brings over 25 years of industry experience to CloudBees, with more than 10 years specifically focused in the middleware business. Michel came to CloudBees from e-commerce platform provider Magento, where he was vice-president and general manager of EMEA. He rapidly built a successful sales and marketing team and, at the same time, developed a strong ecosystem of partners. In August 2011, Magento was acquired by eBay. Goossens' career includes significant experience selling middleware and open source technology. Prior to Magento, he served as vice-president for JBoss EMEA and, after Red Hat acquired JBoss, he continued in the same role, growing JBoss revenue substantially throughout the European region. He also served as VP EMEA for both SilverStream and Novell. Goossens holds a degree in computer science from EPHEC in Brussels, Belgium.
