Mehran Matloubian

Dr. Matloubian has more than 20 years experience in high frequency devices and circuits, and optical electronics. Prior to co-founding Topanga USA, he was a Managing Member at Smart Technology Ventures (STV), a venture capital fund based in Los Angeles investing in companies in the wireless, semiconductor, and clean tech. areas. Before joining STV, he was the manager of Hughes Research Laboratories (now HRL Laboratories) RF Circuits Design Department developing high-performance transistors and circuits for commercial and military applications. He has been awarded 23 U.S. patents with additional 10 patents pending. Dr. Matloubian received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1989.
