Thominvest is a family office and private investment firm. The firm has about�€40 million dedicated to alternative investments including hedge funds and funds of hedge funds as well as long-only and private equity funds. Thominvest plans to decrease the number of hedge fund managers in its portfolio and decrease its allocation amount. The firm plans to increase its private equity allocation but reduce the number of managers it is invested with. The firm has spoken with secondaries managers in the past but it has never resulted in anything. The firm does not need capital so it does not have to sell rather it will find better ways to deal with its investments as opposed to making "quick fixes." For the next several months Thominvest will focus on direct equity investing and investing through ETFs.
