Marvin Davis

Marvin Davis is the Executive Vice President of Property and Asset management for the R & D Facilities business segment at SCRA. He provides overall management of assets and facilities under the SCRA umbrella, including all SCRA research parks, tenant leases and design and construction management of all SCRA research facilities. Marvin is also responsible for the Digital Assets as well including CCIT and the Process Improvements. Prior to joining SCRA, Mr. Davis served as Vice President of Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer of SCT Utility Systems where he was responsible for all facets of accounting, financial planning, contract administration, facilities management and human resources. He was responsible for all internal financial reporting to the corporate office as well as integrated accounting systems, billing, purchasing, monthly financial reports, cash flow, property plant and equipment, amortization schedules, inter-company transactions, revenue backlogs and accounts receivable. Most recently, Mr. Davis served as Vice President of Financial Operations at Indus International. At Indus, Mr. Davis managed financial forecasting for global professional services, sales and development organizations. He negotiated large tenant leases and managed the facilities, which included security, landscaping, shipping and receiving, purchasing and administration management at the Columbia, SC offices. Mr. Davis earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from The University of South Carolina. He is a member of the National Association of Accountants.
