Mandy Kakavas

Mandy is a communications partner at GV and has been with the fund since 2012. She works closely with portfolio companies on media strategy and communications initiatives. Prior to GV, Mandy was a public relations consultant at the OutCast Agency and Horn Group (acquired by Finn Partners), where she advised global brands including Salesforce, Intuit, Khosla Ventures, Zynga, Cisco WebEx, Rocket Fuel, and Riverbed Technology. She began her communications career with Fleishman-Hillard’s technology practice. Mandy also worked in editorial at Glam.com and in movie publicity at Terry Hines & Associates. Mandy received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
