Manar Zarroug

Manar Zarroug is the founder of Omnia Ventures, along with seven other successful ventures. He is a director of the Financial Investment Bank, Plc, OneSpear, Inc, BioSYLx, LLC, ForeVIVA, LLC and iNeedle, Inc., all of which are portfolio companies managed by Omnia. He is also a partner at General Capital Group. Since founding Omnia, Manar lead investments in start-up, turnaround companies in healthcare, information technology, agri-commodities, media and financial services. Prior to founding Omnia, Manar was a senior executive at a private investment group affiliated with the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. In parallel, Manar also collaborated with family offices based in Abu Dhabi and London. Manar co-founded a number of ventures, including a facilities management company in the UAE, John Hopkins Medical (UAE), a joint-venture with US-based John Hopkins Medical Center. In addition to the oil bunkering, oil trading and agri-commodities, Manar also got actively involved in sponsoring companies seeking to enter the UAE market through securing large government contracts. Manar's clients included Total, Mitsubishi, Mitsui & Co, GE, Toshiba, etc. Prior to that, Manar had started his career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse in London.
