I'm a digital entrepreneur. Started many companies, failed at a few, won some Awards along the way. I setup my first 'business' when I was 15 in 1998 that designed basic websites for local companies where I lived. I did it after I read 'HTML for Dummies' on a flight. However, my first 'enterprise' was when I was 8 years old. I'd sell my magic shows to my parents in our living room. I'd put up adverts around the house. It was a captive market with a high customer lifetime value ~ only problem was ~ it didn't scale. Many years later, in 2011, I bootstrapped my Consumer E-commerce brand to $40ml in sales within 18 months. We've now sold over 1 million Active Wear 7 Health Foods products to women in 143 countries, building a team of 70 amazing people to do it. In fact, I won the National Business Award for E-commerce Strategy in 2012 and I was nominated for Entrepreneur of The Year (but the BetterBathrooms.com guy won that - apparently there's a few quid in selling taps). I'll also speak to any audience who'll listen to me for an hour talk about startups, E-commerce, marketing, growth, B2C and product development. I regularly speak/teach at events for Google, Facebook, Barclays and Harvard Business School. The last time was at Oxford Entrepreneurs at Said Business School. I studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) graduating in 2005. I ran money for Family offices between 2000 - 2010 (a whole other story that'll I'll write about in my biography one day).
