Maite is Managing Partner of Nexxus Iberia, a new private equity Euro 200m fund in Spain and Portugal targeting middle market investments with a main focus in supporting companies expansion into Mexico and Latam. Maite is a member of the global investment committee for minority investments including markets such as India, China, Brazil and the US. Extensive fundraising experience with international institutional investors in three funds worth €9bn. Prior to this, Maite joined EY as a senior advisor to TAS focused in Private Equity in June 2014-2016 after 19 years of private equity experience at 3i where she has been Managing Partner in Spain. She has led over 35 investments and 20 divestments including 2 IPOs in both buyouts and minority transactions in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, India and China. Maite served on the boards of thirteen companies during her time at 3i. She currently is a Director on the Boards of Prisa Radio S. A., and Repsol, S. A. and member of their audit committees. She started her career at GTE Corporation (Verizon) as a finance executive. She then joined Booz Allen and Hamilton as a management consultant in strategy design and organizational restructuring for leading multinationals during six years Maite has been Chairman of ASCRI (Spanish Venture Capital Association) from 2010-2012 and board member since 2008 and she is a member of Circulo de Empresarios, International Women´s Forum and Institute of Consejeros and Administradores (Directors´ Institute).
