Louis D.

Lou is a corporate and securities partner in our Silicon Valley office. His practice focuses on advising emerging growth companies in connection with corporate formation, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and public offering transactions, as well as providing corporate governance and securities law counseling. His clients range from startup companies in the earliest stages to public companies in a wide range of technologies, with a focus on the Software as a Service (SAAS), consumer Internet and mobile sectors. Lou also regularly represents investors in venture capital financings and strategic investments. Lou received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Rutgers University. Before joining Gunderson Dettmer Lou was a partner at Orrick. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
