Currently, Lex directs Fintech Strategy at Autonomous Research, a global research firm for the financial sector, helping clients understand and leverage innovation. Previously, he led product design and corporate development at AdvisorEngine (Vanare), a wealth management platform built on roboadvisor DNA. He was also founder and CEO of NestEgg, a roboadvisor focused on delivering financial advice algorithmically. Earlier, he held several roles in the investment industry, including investment banking, strategy and venture capital, and received a JD/MBA from Columbia.
In addition to his work in financial services, Lex is a practicing visual artist focusing on abstraction and new media. His work has been exhibited in galleries and published nationally.
