Larry Curran

Larry Curran is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at i2B Capital. He is also an angel investor. He also served as Strategic Director, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer at VION Investments. As Chief Development Officer of VION Holdings, Larry oversees marketing, sales, acquisitions, and new asset class development. Larry is instrumental in establishing pre- and post-purchase strategies working with vendors and developing the VION brand. He brings years of diversified experience from the debt buying industry from both the financing and acquisition sides of the business. Prior to joining VION, Larry was Vice President of OSI Portfolio Services and Director of Acquisitions for Vision Management Services. Larry was instrumental in closing the first registered debt portfolio's with a major credit card issuer through the Global Debt Registry. To date has worked with two national banks and registered more than $800M in credit card receivables through the Global Debt Registry. Today registered debt is managed six layers deep by GDR as a result of registered transactions. Prior to joining Vision Management Services, Larry was the owner operator of New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Southern Arizona, a franchise of New Horizons Worldwide, the largest computer training company in the world. During his ownership, the center was designated as the only Microsoft Gold Partner for training in the southwest region. Additionally the company was one of only two training sites in the country for the EC Councils Certified Ethical Hacking training centers. Franchise accolades include Fastest Growing Franchise, Highest revenue per employee, and highest EBITDA/Revenue 2004 out of 250 centers worldwide. The company achieved training partner status with both the BBB of Southern Arizona and the Greater Tucson Chamber of Commerce. In 2004, Larry was ranked as one of Tucson's leading young entrepreneurs by Inside Tucson Business Magazine. In 2005, the center achieved sales of $20M in training services. Prior to purchasing New Horizons, Larry was part of an early debt-buying group that began purchasing charged off receivables in 1991. By 1993, Larry was the Director of Marketing & Sales for Performance Capital Management and NASD Principal of the Broker Dealer responsible for raising $50M in funding from 1,900 retail investors. Curran was regularly heard on 1600 AM Financial News Network and hosted investor groups weekly at the Performance Capital Management collection facilities. Larry is a graduate of Colorado State University's Global Campus with a B.S. in Business Administration. Larry attended California State University at Long Beach for Finance and Western State University College for Law.
