Lara Slachta

Lara has formed more than fifty venture capital and private equity funds and has represented limited partners over one hundred investments in private funds. As a corporate securities and fund formation attorney practicing at the most prestigious legal and investment firms in the country, she has had the opportunity to partner with and advise top fund managers and limited partners in the investment space. Lara also has meaningful experience establishing and advising startup and emerging companies. She is a thought leader in for-profit and non-profit hybrid organizational and financing structures. Lara is currently a partner at the largest cloud-based law firm in the country, FisherBroyles, LLP. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Counsel at Wellington Management Company LLP, and Senior Associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Boston. Lara earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Prior to attending law school, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Amman, Jordan.
