MyAlerts embeds a customer-controlled marketing platform in top retail, hospitality, media and employment sites. The company is pioneering "Permission Marketing At Scale". The user experience for its white label technology is a simple opt-in form on customer's sites that lets the individual provide consent and set criteria for receiving future marketing from the brand.
Garretson was a founding partner and ventures lead for a Minneapolis based digital strategy agency. Earlier he headed emerging media monetization for Best Buy and was the company's liaison to the venture capital industry. Garretson has been a founder and partner of two other digital agencies, one sold to Interpublic Group and one is now Arc Worldwide at Leo Burnett.
