Kevin E. Conley has spent the past 18 years recruiting financial services executives in New York, London and Boston. He formed Conley & Company in April 2002 to provide his clients with superior executive recruiting services. Over the past four years, Mr. Conley has successfully completed 95% of the searches he has handled and 90% of his successful candidates are still employed by his clients. Mr. Conley began his career with Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading executive recruiting firm, in New York as an Analyst conducting research for Russ Reynolds, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Conley spent the next nine years with Russell Reynolds Associates and was promoted to Consultant, Associate and Executive Director in the Financial Services Practice. Mr. Conley’s primary areas of focus include asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, leveraged finance, mezzanine finance, real estate, emerging markets and capital markets assignments. In 1994, Mr. Conley joined The Whitney Group, a boutique recruiting firm focused on Financial Services, and moved to London where he was responsible for assisting in the development of The Whitney Group’s business in Europe. In London, he continued to focus on the financial services sector. In 1997, Kevin returned home to Boston and joined Lamalie Associates, the fifth largest executive search firm in North America, which was renamed LAI Worldwide and the first of the search firms to go public. At LAI, Mr. Conley was a Managing Partner with responsibility for the Boston office and co-Head of the Asset Management Practice Worldwide. In 1999, Mr. Conley founded the Westgate Group and served as President, growing the business to projected revenues of $10 million. In June 2000, Korn/Ferry International acquired the Westgate Group. At Korn/Ferry, Kevin served as the Regional Managing Director for New England with responsibility for offices in Stamford and Boston. Kevin, who is 40 years old, was born and raised in Winchester, Massachusetts. He attended public schools in Winchester until 9th grade, when he enrolled at Matignon High School in Cambridge, MA. He graduated from Matignon in 1981, having been a member of two Division 1 State Hockey Championship Teams. He matriculated at Yale University and graduated in 1985 with BA in Economics. At Yale, Kevin was Captain of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team, which won the Ivy League Championship and was the first Yale Hockey Team to achieve twenty wins in a season. Mr. Conley serves on the Board of Directors for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Joslin Diabetes Center and The Marks Colorectal Foundation. He and his wife, Rikki, served as co-Chairs of the 2nd Annual Joslin Diabetes Center’s High Hopes Diamond Gala raising over $1.2 million for kids with diabetes. They reside with their three children in Weston, Massachusetts.
