Meriwether Capital is a New York-based firm founded by Mr. George D. O'Neill in 1976 to acquire middle-market companies for long-term investment. It is focused on companies with EBITA from $2.0 MM - $5 MM, although add-ons can be smaller. Meriwether seeks specialty manufacturing, distribution, or service companies having an industrial and/or commercial market orientation. The firm invests in companies that are family and privately held or corporate divestitures, with preference for those in the Eastern half of the U.S.
