He focuses on providing strategic and corporate finance advisory to industrial technology companies while leveraging his prior bulge bracket advisory work with companies in the industrial, automotive and technology sectors. Prior to joining Headwaters MB's Industrial Technology Group, Kapil was a Director in the Industrials Group at Credit Suisse where he worked for six years leading M&A and capital raising advisory mandates. He covered the automotive & transportation sectors including automotive suppliers, automakers, dealerships and automotive technology. He also served as a generalist industrials banker across aerospace and defense, capital goods, building products and diversified industrials. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Kapil's investment banking experience included M&A and capital raising work at Barclays Capital and Oppenheimer. Kapil began his career working in financial analysis at Deutsche Bank and in credit risk management at JP Morgan. Kapil holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Masters in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, where he graduated with highest distinction.
