Court Square is an independent private equity firm established by the former members of Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners. The firm has invested over $4.5 billion in more than 150 transactions, which have returned $14 billion to date. While the firm takes a generalist approach to investing, it has specific and significant experience in the following sectors: business services, healthcare, industrials, media and publishing, and technology and telecommunications. Court Square currently manages approximately $6 billion of aggregate capital commitments. It closed Court Square Capital II at $3.13 billion, which surpassed a $2.5 billion target, making it one of the largest funds ever raised by an investment bank spin out.
