Jonathan Sherry

Jonathan Sherry is co-founder of CB Insights (CBI), a National Science Foundation-backed information services company focused on the venture capital, angel and private equity investment markets. CBI’s partners include Forbes, Silicon Valley Bank and the Angel Capital Association. In 2011, CBI was selected to participate in the founding class of the FinTech Innovation Lab, which is an incubator program organized by Accenture, the New York City Investment Fund as well as numerous other prestigious financial services institutions. CB Insights and its data have been featured everywhere from The New York Times to the Wall Street Journal. Prior to founding CB Insights, Jonathan worked at American Express where he pioneered the company’s $50 million Chairman’s Innovation Fund. Earlier in his career, he spent a five-year stint at Deloitte consulting for the Financial Services industry. Educational highlights include an MBA from Columbia Business School as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
