Jonathan Rhone

Jonathan is a serial cleantech entrepreneur. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Axine Water Technologies, which is commercializing a revolutionary solution for treating industrial wastewater. He is the co-founder of Evok Energy Innovations. He is also the founder and former CEO of Nexterra Systems Corp. an award-winning, global supplier of waste-to-energy systems where he built the company from inception to sales of multimillion dollar energy plants. Prior to Nexterra he held leadership positions with a NASDAQ listed cleantech company, the Globe Foundation, the Delphi Group a leading international consulting firm. He began his career in the oil and gas industry Dome Petroleum and Amoco Canada (now BP). He is currently a member of the BC Premier’s Technology Council, the Advisory Board of the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions and chairs the BC Cleantech CEO Alliance. He is formerly a board member of VanCity Capital, a venture capital fund subsidiary of VanCity. In 2009, he was recognized as Technology Industry Person of the Year by the BCTIA.
