Jonathan Epstein

Jonathan Epstein serves as Chairman & Co-Founder at Moneytree (App). Jonathan Epstein is an Angel Investor. He served as Country Manager, Japan at Credorax. He serves as a Board Member at Cloudian. He joins Credorax with two decades of experience in the Japanese market, where he has held a range of senior positions in technology, banking, and payments. As General Manager and Representative Director of PayPal Japan, he obtained Japanese government approval for an FTBO license and launched a smart-phone-based credit card reader in 4600 stores across Japan. Prior to that, he served as Chief Product Officer & Chief Risk Officer of Asurion Japan, a mobile communications insurance provider. Jonathan also served as Regional Vice President with AIG Corporation Japan and Korea where he launched a Private Equity and M&A Group that was a subsidiary of AIG Japan. Prior to AIG, Jonathan served as CFO and board member of NASDAQ Japan, CEO of Net2Phone Asia and as Director of Strategic Planning at Softbank. Jonathan earned his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and his BA in Philosophy from Princeton University. He is fluent in Japanese and French and speaks Mandarin Chinese and Hebrew.
