John McDermott

John McDermott serves as President, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at iTherapyDocs. He is an Angel Investor. He serves as Board Of Director at ABQid. McDermott serves as an advisor and investor in information technology start-ups and growth phase companies. John also serves as Chairman of the New Mexico Finance Authority, a $2B infrastructure bank, and as a Board Member of ABQid, New Mexico's leading start-up accelerator and seed investment firm. John had a thirty-year career in large technology companies. From 2002 to 2012 John led corporate development, corporate strategy, alliances and information technology at Xerox. John was involved in more than $8B of M&A transactions and served as a Board Member of both the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) and Fuji Xerox, Xerox's $12B joint venture in the Asia Pacific region. John was also a member of the strategy team at IBM during the turn-around of the company in the late 1990s and, between these experiences, John served many other IT companies on topics of strategy, performance improvement and organization as a Partner and Practice Leader at the consulting firm of Marakon Associates. John is a graduate of the Yale University School of Management. He serves as Board Chairman & President at ABQid.
