In 2008, Highlander opened an office in Warsaw, Poland, which is responsible for making investments in Central Europe. Highlander's typical investment size is between $10 million and $50 million; however, the firm is able to underwrite larger transactions that require up to $100 million of equity under the right circumstances. For mezzanine financing, its typical investment size is between $10 and $25 million.
