Jeffrey LeSage

Jeffrey LeSage is a Managing Director with Envisage Advisors. He brings over 17 years of mergers and acquisitions, growth investments and joint ventures as both an attorney and private equity professional. In addition to his role at Envisage Advisors, Mr. Le Sage is also the Founder and Managing Director of Envisage Equity, an operationally focused private equity firm. Envisage takes both control and non-control positions in companies. Mr. Le Sage is the Chairman of Sage Beverages, a nationwide distributor of specialty beverages. He is a Board member of CleanPlanet Chemical, an innovative recycling services and technologies company.Mr. Le Sage is a retired former partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a global law firm with more than 1,100 lawyers in 18 offices across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. His practice included mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, distressed transactions, reorganizations, going private transactions, hostile takeovers, venture capital transactions, public offerings, private placements, corporate securities and general business law matters. Mr. Le Sage has been named as a leading lawyer by The Best Lawyers in America (2013 edition) and as one of the top corporate transactional attorneys in California by Chambers USA America’s Leading Business Lawyers (2013, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009 editions). Mr. Le Sage was also named as one of the “Top 20 Under 40” lawyers in California by the Daily Journal (January 2012). Mr. Le Sage graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1998, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Sayre Macneil Scholar. He served as an editor of the Loyola Law Review and president of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. In 1995, Mr. Le Sage received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, where he majored in Business Economics and Organizational Behavior and Management with an emphasis on finance. Mr. Le Sage served as a National Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and President of Heart of Los Angeles Youth, an inner city youth organization that he has been involved with for over fifteen years. He also recently founded The Remember Bracero Foundation, a non-profit focused on education and scholarship opportunities.
