Jamie Kennedy

Founded in 2001, Longroad Asset Management is a private investment firm focused on acquiring controlling positions in discounted fixed income securities, bank debt and obligations of financially distressed companies, providing value throughout the restructuring process. Longroad Capital Partners is a special situations fund created to invest in the debt obligations of financially challenged middle-market companies (revenues between $30-$400 million) whose value can be enhanced through the application of strategic, operating and financial resources. The firm makes investments in the U.S. and Canada and capital investments range from $5 million to $50 million. The fund, totaling $183 million, closed in August of 2004. With more than $500 million in assets under management, the firm is currently investing its third fund.
