Gemini Investors is a private equity firm focused on providing investment capital to established, middle market businesses, operating in nearly all industry sectors, with three or more years of operating history, and revenues between $10 and $50 million and EBITDA of at least $1 million. Currently, Gemini manages four investment funds with total committed capital of $500 million. The firm invests in a variety of transactions, including growth capital, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and buyouts. Operating since 1993, and having made more than 90 investments since its inception, Gemini has raised four equity funds in 1995, 1997, 2000, and 2005. Gemini will typically make investments of between $3 and $8 million and the preferred industry focus is technology, business services, consumer services, healthcare, education, manufacturing and distribution.
